It seems that my calculations button has gone missing. I’ve tried a few dashboards and tiles and it is gone for all of them. Tried a different web browser as well but got the same thing. Is this a bug, or am I missing some feature?
It looks like Looker is purposely hiding the button. It’s got the ng-hide class applied to the button.
If I edit the page source and remove the ng-hide, the button shows up and I can use it as normal. I’m guessing this is actually a Looker bug.
Remove the ng-hide class
and the button shows up working fine.

Perhaps your Admin added you to Custom fields group and now you have them in the other place?
Can you see it in the top left corner?
If I disable Custom Fields in our instance, I can still see the legacy button fine:
