Stacked bars comparison in the same chart?

Hi - I’m looking to represent a comparison between current and previous year for stacked bars. Is this possible in Looker? 

Or the only way to do this is (like below) - Stacked bar shows value for one year (e.g. 2022) and line shows value for previous year (e.g. 2021)?

If I understand your question correctly this should be feasible if you pivot by your dimension “region” (not year), and display your measures as stacked bars with the “Grid Layout by Pivot” option
