Schedule Dashboard With Conditions

Hi, I’m trying to replicate the functionality of scheduling look deliveries only when there are results but for a dashboard. My idea for a solution was to set up a datagroup trigger for the dashboard. However, all the tiles on the dashboard are based on an explore which has a different datagroup trigger that will fire more frequently. Is there a way to schedule a dashboard to send based on a custom datagroup trigger that no explores use?
