Scatterplot with Pivot

I have a simple scatterplot that has two measures + ID that’s hidden for granularity

I was thinking about adding a pivot that would allow me to add colours. I know that because of how this works pivot could create two points per row, but thought perhaps with Plot Null Value OFF it wouldn’t duplicate the data points.

Problem is that when I add a pivot, I get the following error:

Because the only dimension is hidden. Which means scatterplot doesn’t mind the dimension being hidden with two measures, but complains when there’s a pivot.

It would be great if scatterplot worked the same way for both

Another request would be to allow third measure to dictate the colour intensity
