Tablecals can allow you to make some simple calculation over the results you are getting as plain numbers, very quick and easy, no dev access or LookML knowledge needed. Also very handy for merged results where you have no otherr way to get those calculations from different explores/models.

But these calculations are performed in Looker after the results are received, which consumes memory. They are also performed only on up to 5000 rows, so if you have more results  - you can’t get table calculations calculated for those rows, and you can’t  download “All Results” option as table calcs won’t stream
