No Slack Notification For Self-Alerts

Hey Looker Community! 

I think Alerts are great. I recently set a daily Alert to send me a direct Slack message, rather than as an email.

I still get the Alert correctly. However, since it’s sent via my profile (aka as me), I don’t get an actual Slack notification. Anybody have a solution? I suppose I could just check my thread every day, but I’d prefer to not have to proactively check. (Otherwise, it’s not much more beneficial than setting a Schedule, in that proactive-sense.)

I’ve also tried sending the Alert to a private Slack channel (instead of as a direct message to myself), but it still doesn’t work, since the Alert is still sent as me. 

I realize this is probably more of a Slack question than a Looker question, fyi.
