Need Support- how to link looker data to data studio. End goal is to have data in looker (qwiklabs learner counts for example) visualized in data studio (as it goes hand in hand with other data sources).
Non-technical PgM so this probably sounds really silly but could use some guidance or connect to someone who could help.

I don’t think this would be possible. It’s important to remember that there is no data ‘in looker’. The only data Looker holds is metadata on the usage of Looker. There’s no business data stored in the tool.
Looker submits queries to your database, the model tells looker how to write those queries. You can turn the output of those queries into charts and dashboards fairly easily inside Looker.
Your two options are to get your developers to give access to the other data sources you need in Looker, or if you’re on BigQuery, get access to the raw data and connect Data Studio to that. This would circumvent what’s great about Looker’s model though.
