I’m having an issue that the legend is not appearing below my visualization. I really need the legend, so that I can select and deselect different series. How can I force the legend to appear? BTW I noticed that if I play with the window size I can get the legend to appear for a few seconds, but then the chart resizes to adjust to the new window size and the legend disappears again. HELP!

Yes it’s on Mac. I’m not too sure about Windows… My company provides Macbook… Perhaps you might want to experiment and replace option with something else on your Window keyboard. Do reply once you found the key so everyone can learn too. 🙂

If you open the chart settings (from “Edit”), what do you see for the legend options?
Hey! I got what you mean after trying on my dashboard. It seems like after a certain number of measure, Looker seems to hide the legend. (This seems to appear after I added my 23th measure)
Like what you said, the only way the legend appeared was when I remove measures or when resizing the screen. However, I don’t think adding a million measures on the visualization will do any help either!
The solution?
Looker did that because there isn’t space to display all the legend without compromising the visualization! Once you save it to your dashboard, enlarge it and the legend will display properly. 🙂
Also, try to think if there’s any better way to visualize your data. Hope this help anyways. 😃
Hi! So to deselect everything in the legend, all you have to do is to hit the option+d and click on any label and you’ll select everything except for the label you just clicked. To select everything, just hit the option+d and click on any label twice. Hope this helps! 😃
