Is there a way to "select all" for a dashboard filter?

I have a handful of dashboards where end users need to run the output for all filter options except for one. Is there a way to “select all” so that then one value can be un-selected, versus needing to select all one by one?

Hi @mpoblete ,

I don’t know of a select all option like you are suggesting.  If I were doing it on my end, I would save the dashboard with all the options selected by default and then the user can deselect the one they don’t want.

You very well may have thought of this, but if not, I hope it helps!

@minerkt I actually haven’t thought of that - thank you for the suggestion!

What if we have a dropdown with hundreds of options? A “select all” and ability to deselect options we don’t want would be extremely helpful.

Hi @rtseng ,

I think there are options when different situations are presented.

I think if you are needing your filters to run a “select all” and then deselect options, I would just change the filter to “is not equal to” as shown in my screenshot.

Let me know if this helps or if you have more questions.

Bumped into this as I was searching through the internet. Select All feature is being asked by a lot of people and business now. Any plans to bring in this feature?
