inline link instead of new tab

I’m building a custom vis table but it has the same feature as a normal looker table where the cell has a link to another looker table. When I click this cell it will open in a new browser tab.

How can I target it to open inline? Is it possible to create a new table underneath the existing one after clicking the link? Or can it replace the current table?
