When using a date range filter, a calendar will pop up. However, I cannot select dates that are in the same row as the month title (e.g. April 2020). I can hard-type it in, but users are going to super annoyed.

I am trying to schedule an automated dashboard delivery. When I Test Now or even hit Send Now, the dashboard is successfully delivered. But, when I try to automate it, the dashboard is never sent. Is this because the dashboard is too big? Or some other setting issue that is disabling an automated send?
Hi,I am trying to create a table that shows how the percentage split between refundable and non-refundable bookings has changed over the last quarter. What I am struggling with is creating a dimension that shows YTD data per week over the last 12 weeks. I have created YTD data before but creating a dimension that does this for each of the previous 12 weeks is proving a challenge, any help here would be much appreciated. Thanks, Dan
We recently upgraded to using Dashboard NEXT and noticed that the ability to click on a tile to edit the list of filters that affect it no longer exists. This creates a pretty significant bit of extra work when adding new tiles to an existing dashboard. Are there plans to add this functionality back in?
Hey folks,I am having an issue whereby there is no results returned from the dashboard, but yet when i went in to explore - I can see the results returned without any error. Anyone have any idea what is happening?
Is anyone familiar with the “compare to” date functionality or the segment comparison functionality in Google Analytics? I’m having a hard time transitioning some of my team’s Google Analytics reports into Looker because it is really difficult to compare things against each other in Looker and understand % differences between multiple metrics. I COULD create individual looks for each potential segment comparison and try to make some calculated fields from that, but even that is not very visually appealing. Any ideas? Thanks!
Hi there,I have a dashboard that I want to create a schedule for. So, this schedule has to be of type email and there are many branches in this company, each branch manager has to receive only the info of his/her own branch based on a condition.I have a table with two columns (“branch_name” and “branch_manager”) how can I create a rule that says send each manager the dashboard filtered on it’s related branch based on the table?PS.(the managers are too many to be added one-by-one manually in a schedule)Is this achieveable only by using APIs? if yes which API I should use?

Is there any way of utilizing the series_colors LookML parameter through the UI? The description found on https://help.looker.com/hc/en-us/articles/4420171149075-Column-chart-parameters-for-LookML-dashboards suggests that it could be used as a form of conditional formatting for fields in a column chart. It seems though that without saving off a dashboard LookML file and manually applying the settings it is not available to be utilized. Is there any way of either exposing this in the UI or repurposing the conditional formatting functionality of other visualizations to apply these parameter settings?
I’m using the advanced date filter to select absolute number of days from a specific date. In the documentation, it says the following: 2018/05/10 for 3 days from 2018/05/10 00:00:00 through 2018/05/12 23:59:59 However in my results, the prior day is appearing: Anyone aware of a bug or if there’s a particular reason for this?
I want to show the MoM and YoY for 2021 (vs 2020) in a graph. But when I filter the dataset from 2021-01 to now. The graph only shows the MoM from feb-21. It doesn’t show the jan-21 MoM and the YoY for all the months. I think that it happens because the use of the filter.Any idea to fix it?Thanks.
Hello Everyone,I’m new in Looker and whilst I am learning a lot I also have a ton of questions. One of said questions is that right now I want to have a sort of filter section but later in the document, so that when you go in you can only see the title and first visuals but then as you move down you get to see that there is a filter panel and then another visual that is affected by that filter panel. Can I achieve this behavior ???
Hello,I am trying to create an alert on my tile which contain a single percentage value on the basis of two rows of data (3rd and 4th day before), which contain one table calculation of "% Change from previous value". The tile is only showing the percentage change on which I want to check if that value is >=10 then I want to create an alert But getting error "Error: Your alert could not be saved."
We have a requirement to display images of financial transactions using Looker . The images cannot be stored in a public space due to the sensitivity of the data. Ideally we would want something like this where the user can click on a link to the image, and it open in another window. But the navigation is less important than the security. This is a view of the legacy application and clicking on the image link calls an ASPX page. The ASPX handles the db connection, authentication, image retrieval, and opening it in a new window. We can either store the images in a file store or as data in a database. But it must be secured. Has anyone done an implementation with a similar requirement? Is this possible with with Looker?
I apologize if someone has already posted this somewhere, but it would be great if you can easily print a “Spaces Directory” that includes in an organized manner a list of Spaces and correlating Dashboards with Descriptions in the space, as well as a Dashboard Directory that includes an organized list of Dashboard and associated Looks with descriptions. (all fields that are inputs from user) Does this exist or will this be something that you will release soon?
