How to sum the values of a column based on value in another column

Hi, I have a column named project name and another column named allocation %

I want to sum up the allocations for each project. Currently there are multiple rows for each project with different allocation %.

How do i do that and show only one row per project?

Hello @AMIT_GULATI and welcome!

Sounds like you only have the dimension allocation % and not the measure that sums it.
So you need to ask the team that manages Looker at your company to create that measure.

Or if you have the feature available, use a custom measure.

Thanks Cyril. Yes, I don’t have that as measure. I can create a custom measure which will sum up the rows with same project name but was wondering if there is a simpler way.
