How to ensure webhook security?

Hello everybody,

I am planning to use webhooks to send data to a third party system and my developers are questioning the security aspects of this solution. They are concerned about attacks from unknown sources. In that case, should I use the X Looker instance as an authentication token?

Another concern is webhook interception and redirection to unknown destinations.

I have no idea how to avoid this scenario. Can someone help me?
