How to dynamically change the unit of time in the look, based on the time filter selected by the user?

Hi,
Let’s assume a very simple case- one date filter on the dashboard and one look with “Order Month” on its x -axis. Now, lets say a user sets the filter to “in last 6 weeks”. Is it possible to change the x-axis on the look to weeks dynamically? I want the time unit (week,/month/ year/quarter etc.) selected by the user in the date filter to reflect in the look.
