Dropdown list needs to click outside the filter to work

Hey all. I noticed that the dropdown list changed and now we need to click outside the filter to show the data. Is that a bug or its gonna be like that from now on?

I am having the same problem and can't seem to find any info on it. I am concerned that this is a permanent change because it is very tacky. Have you found anything on how to fix this?
