Dashboard Filter (tag list) empty

I have a dashboard with a simple Tag List filter to prompt the user to select a particular Dimension value.  However it appears that there seems to be a limit on the number of values that are displayed in the tag list, once it reaches that limit it shows an empty list

As per the Dashboard Controls documenation (https://docs.looker.com/dashboards/dashboard-beta-filters#dashboard_(beta)_filter_controls) - Button Group limited to 30, Checkbox limited to 50, BUT Tag List should be ALL values
