Dashboard filter not applying to Tiles

Hi there, I have created a dashboard with several tiles, however, the table filters I’ve added to the dashboard do not update the tiles in the dashboard. I made sure that each tile has permissions to be updated, but still nothing works. Anybody have any idea what might be going on?

In this case first of all we want to make sure that the filter you added is applied to the tile correctly - the tile should be selected and have the correct field to filter, available for that explore..


After you check that you can use “Explore from here” from the tile to see what exactly was applied to this tile - so it will open the explore with all the filters applied. And you should be able to see the generated SQL query as well, this usually helps a lot in troubleshooting - maybe there is a sql_always_where condition for that field, for example, than we can not change it with filters.
