Dashboard filter doesn't show suggestions

Hi there, we have encountered some issues with dashboard filters recently.​​​​​​ They seem to be hard to be created and maintained.

1. When we try to add a new filter, the “Add filter” page will run forever and not load anything after we select a field as the filter. (see the example in screenshot 1)
2. The added filters are not very reliable to show suggestions. Sometimes it shows the suggestions, sometimes it loads nothing (see the example in screenshot 2)

Hi, 

Is it possible the query is non-performant? You can set up a PDT and use it to add suggest_explore and suggest_dimension to the dim you are filtering on. Looker can cache the results then and your filters are almost instant.

I added them to a recent model and it really helped, hopefully it is applicable to your Looker instance
