Cookie banner in the PDF

Imagine my surprise when I downloaded a dashboard and saw this:

it’s actually part of the PDF because, I suspect, the HTML DOM structure is used to pass it to a PDF builder…

Disable the cookie banner in looker admin until the bug is fixed.

We’re on it! It’s prioritized highly as we know it’s important to get schedules and downloads looking good.

While technically @cristian2’s solution works, I’m not sure what that would mean for legal/privacy compliance so please bear that in mind before disabling. We’ll fix this as soon as we can.

Thank you. I’m glad it’s highly prioritised as it was difficult to explain when investors got their reports with cookie banner haha

This has been fixed, the fix is available in versions:
7.16.27+
7.18.2+ (which isn’t out yet, but leaving here for posterity).

I believe our next patch deployment isn’t for a week, so if you aren’t on 7.16.27+, you can reach out to support to get updated.
