Clustered Stacked Bar Chart

Hello,

I am trying to get a bar graph(s) in which there are four categories that represent different bars, the measures are pivoted creating separate colors for the stack in the bar. Then also have each of these groups over a week, one group for each day.

Something along the lines like this. But having the days having a wider gap.

The closest I can get to it is similar but each value label has it’s own part and I’d like it to be grouped. As well as the bars being closer for each category and wider separated by each day.

you can!

  1. pivot by date (the larger category)
  2. leave the 4 categories (the smaller one) as a regular dimension
  3. select “stacked” for series positioning
  4. set the grid layout to “by pivot”
  5. set the number of charts per row to 7 for this case, or the max of 12 for general case

This doesn’t work. Stacked option does not work with regular dimension.

Any updates on how to implement a clustered stacked bar chart in Looker? Seems so simple in Tableau but impossible in Looker

Any updates regarding this issue ?
