Centered legends no longer showing

I think there is a recent bug where Looker isn’t showing centered legends. One can repro what I am seeing by doing the following:

1. Create an explore
2. Add two dimensions and a measure. Pivot on one of the dimensions
3. Show a column chart
4. No legend is shown. If I change it from centered to left or right, it does show.

I have the same experience with other chart types and am also experiencing this in dashboards.
