Area / Line chart is not stacked even stacked option is selected

I tried to stack Market Segment by sales over time but even though the Stacked option in Series Positioning is already selected, it doesn’t change anything in the graph. I tried for both Area and Line chart.

I also tried to replace date field with Week and with another date field (shipping date) as well as replace Market Segment by another dimension but nothing changed

I’ve been searching around and read documentation but couldn’t figured out why.

Not sure what’s wrong with my visualization.

Could someone please help?

Click on the gear icon in Market Segment and select PIVOT.. that should do the trick!

Might having to look more on Pivot in Looker.
