My emails keep to SPAM

Hi,

I'm writing to report some major issues I'm having with my emails. They seem to be encountering two problems:

Landing in spam: Some emails I send are being automatically filtered into recipients' spam folders.
Undelivered without notification: Other emails are simply not reaching the recipient at all, with no bounce-back message to indicate failure.
Client Communication Issues:

These problems are causing difficulties with client communication. Here are two specific examples:

First Case: A client sent me an email that I replied to. However, she never received my reply, even though it shows as sent on my end. She sent another email and even forwarded the original one to show me she hadn't received anything.

Second Case: I tried to send an email to another client, but I received an error message stating that my message was blocked.

I'm reaching out because these issues are impacting my ability to communicate effectively with clients. I'd be grateful if you could please investigate the cause of these problems and suggest some solutions.

Implement SPF, DKIM and DMARC to ensure your outbound mail is authenticating correctly. This will improve deliverability (minimizing the probability of being labelled spam) and security of your mail (protecting your brand and domain reputation from being ruined by bad actors).

Once complete, send your domain to me in a private message, and I'd be happy to take a look and see if there are any errors in your implementation.

I’d start by making sure that SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are set up properly for the domain associated with your Google Workspace instance. See https://support.google.com/a/answer/10583557 for how to do that.

In addition to that, Google’s postmaster tools can provide more information about why your email might be going to spam. See https://support.google.com/a/answer/9981691 for how to get started.

Finally, Google (and much of the rest of the industry) is becoming far more stringent about how they handle spamming, making the steps I outlined above more essential. See https://blog.google/products/gmail/gmail-security-authentication-spam-protection/ for an overview of the changes, and  https://support.google.com/a/answer/81126 for the details.

Hope that helps,

Ian
